What is Share?
SHARE INVEST INC. ("Share") is a mobile app designed to make investing simpler. On Share, you invest in baskets of stocks and/or ETFs - called Strategies - in a fixed amount on a set schedule. Your recurring investment is divided equally amongst all the stocks in your Strategy. Together, this is called dollar cost averaging and equal weighting. Strategies are created by us, but you can customize them to suit your goals.
How is Share different from other trading apps?
Share if unique in a couple of important ways.

First, on Share you never buy a stock directly. You invest in baskets of stocks designed to meet a specific goal.

Second, all investments on Share are recurring and use dollar cost averaging. Share helps you make long-term focused investments without having to be glued to your phones watching the market every day.

What if I want to leave a strategy?
You can pause your investment in a strategy at any time. You can also leave a strategy in your settings, and sell all the stocks in your strategy, or take them with you and manage them yourself.
Is investing in strategies safer than picking individual stocks?
While diversification when properly applied can help to reduce risk, it is important to note that all investments involve risk and the past performance of a security or financial product does not guarantee future results or returns. Keep in mind that while diversification may help spread risk it does not assure a profit, or protect against loss. There is always the potential of losing money when you invest in securities or other financial products. The price of a security or other financial product may increase or decrease based on market conditions and customers may lose money, including their original investment. Investors should consider their investment objectives and risks carefully before investing.
Can I invest in multiple strategies?
Yes! You can invest in as many strategies as you like.
How much money goes to each asset in a strategy?
When you invest in a strategy, you decide how much you want to invest each week. It can be as little as $5. Each Monday, Share will automatically divide your weekly investment equally (to within 1 cent) among all the stocks in your strategy.

Share will not invest less than $1 in any stock, so if you are investing less than $1 per stock in your strategy, stocks will be rotated in a round-robin fashion each week.
How about selling?
If you decide you no longer want to invest in a stock in one of your strategy, simply rate it a "Sell" and we'll stop buying it and sell your position in it on the next trading day.
